Behind this helm of life I stand,
Holding fast,  to Stay the course.
Resting in this awesome fact,

Whether seas be calm or rough ,
I WILL GO THROUGH  with no remorse
     to peace in harbors bluff

Think of rough times  as an exercise in
PERSERVERANCE and CHARACTER

Stop to Smell The Roses

I have never claimed to have an original thought,
but rather a transporter of valuable truth,
hidden deep in the holds of my ship of life
to share with those in need.

To some they have no value
but to others, they are life indeed.

Deut. 30. 19 : I set before you, life and death.
 Choose life that you and your seed may live.

Example:
Happiness and love are in your hands
to choose or reject.
To reject is to choose bitterness.

To Quote the words of a poet:
“Some say, love it’s a river
that drowns the tender reed.
Some say love, it is a razor
that leaves the soul to bleed.
Some say Love it is a hunger
an endless ache and need.
I say, love it is a flower,
and you it’s only seed.

It’s the heart, afraid of breaking
that never learns to dance.
It’s the dream afraid of waking
that never takes the chance.
It’s the one who won’t be taken
that never seems to give.
And the soul afraid of dying,
that never learns to live.

When the night has been too lonely
and the road has been too long,
and you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong,
just remember in the winter,
far beneath the bitter snow,
lies the seed,
that with the Son’s love,

To lose one's wealth is sad indeed,
To lose one's health is more.
To lose one's soul is such a loss
That no man can restore.

The present only is our own.
Live, love, toil with a will.
Place no faith in 'tomorrow'
For the clock may then be still.

I have talked about spouting words of wisdom from a pulpit of ignorance,
My tboughts go back to the question,

WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE?

Invariably the person will say well! We believe?!, That's not what I asked!
THE QUESTION WAS WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE.
Most people would rather ignorantly fight for what their group believes, without giving one hour to study to know what I, MYSELF, ME , this is what I BELIEVE .
Can you see now why so many of us are nothing but sheep following ignorant leaders.

Conflict resolution
Two men opposing each other ,are they enemies because of their difference? No!
One is sanding strong defending his convictions, the other is doing the same.
They will come together in unity only when they yield to higher intellect whom they both respect. They must stay different or as individual minds in order to cause thought in the other. But pride and control must at all times be set aside in order to maintain unity and inspire growth.
By yourself you do not have the whole truth.

Far from any man or beast and nothing but the sound of mariah whaling at the sales and and the waves battering against the haul washing over the decks.
I sit contemplating the things of life and their meaning,
To stop insanity from setting in I write these scattered thoughts down so that I can read them back to myself, as if I was back at home listening to the old lady as she rambles on and on about the things at home.
If by chance you have happened upon this old log book it may be that it was washed over in the last storm.
But I assure you that I am still out here watching for the lights along the shore.
